Here is an interesting video of a person who is a paraplegic. Thru the aid of computer programmed nerve stimulation implants he is able to pedal a tadpole trike. Unfortunately I am unable to show the video here. In order to view it you will have to CLICK HERE and watch it on another website. The video should appear and start playing automatically.
It is neat to see what modern technology is able to accomplish. May those who are stricken with such physical problems continue to be aided so that they too can …
KEEP ON TRIKIN’
God bless him…! And I am always happy to hear, when others who find this world challenging that they come back fighting as I have done… Although this man’s fight is greater than mine, because he is still fighting his battle, I had been lucky after many surgeries that I had regained my ability to get around now without the artificial stimulator in which sends impulses to his legs to work again, and that’s what is really spectacular about this article, and I thank Steve for bringing it here to us,…! This is what this has always been about to me, for the fight for independence, and the ability to ride again freely… I had been in an accident which has taken a large chunk of my life from me, and after not giving up, and the doctors not giving up on me, I am able to get around.. I had a spinal stimulator in my lower right abdomen in planted and after a short while my body rejected it, and I ended up back in the hospital again,, and thanks to some doctors who have seen I was not ready to quit yet operated on me until I got use of my legs again, although I am not 100%, I am able to get up on my own and ride my beautiful monster Q-4, and that is what this man is doing he is fighting a battle, and not giving up…! I think this is what is very important, and many forget, that there are people who have not given up, and are willing to continue to fight.. Apploud this man, and give to others who fight this fight a cheer as well, and never ever show them they are forgotten, or given up on, and they will remember that forever as I do…!
Thanks Steve for bring this to us, as it wakes me up again to remember who I am, and where I would be if I had given up the fight…! And may this article awaken others to the fight, and remember those in their life, who also have not given up as well, and continue the fight themselves…!
