The Power on Cycling seat is not a very “know” seat. Also shipping international may have been an issue. You shouldn’t have had to replace the seat anyway on a trike in that price range. Did you happen to mention it to Performer? They should be made aware of these things.
Alan. That’s the same concern I mentioned to Rob Gentry of RBR the Performer US importer. That’s a bike seat, no lateral support. I had already been there, done that with my ICE S model, which was the same, a bike seat. The S didn’t have the “love handles” ICE wound up having to offer after the fact. ICE didn’t have them any longer. I wound up getting a carbon fiber version from Ocean Cycles UK, Marcin Szewczyk. They did the trick. It wasn’t a sensation of falling out either:-)

Hi Steve,
I’ve just bought a Performer Cantus carbon trike, so I found the video very interesting. The only negative thing I would say about the Cantus is the seat is to narrow, not enough support when cornering. I’m waiting for a new seat to arrive more like the one on my ICE VTX. Hopefully that will help. Keep up the good work, Wish we had a website like yours here in the UK.
Alan.
