As an aid in discovering what trikes are available for a certain amount of money one might have in mind or is limited to spending I have put together this page listing trike models according to their price … more less in $500 increments. I will also provide links to the manufacturer’s site whenever possible or perhaps to another website concerning the particular trike. Please keep in mind that the prices shown were the current prices when I put this together and are subject to change. Also keep in mind that these are base prices meaning that they don’t include such added charges as shipping, assembly, taxes, accessories, etc. Some manufacturers do not show their trike prices. In such cases I have shown prices I have found online elsewhere. I make no pretense that this listing is all inclusive of all trike manufacturers or all models which are available. This is a listing of adult tadpole trikes only. There are a few children’s trikes which are lessor money than the adult trikes. Each trike listing shows what country it is made in (not necessarily where the company is located). I would caution everybody … you usually get what you pay for. Most of the lower cost trikes are not the quality of higher dollar trikes. It pays to research before purchasing. Read independent reviews. Be careful of reviews found on manufacturer’s websites. If you can possibly afford it it is best to buy the best quality trike you can even if it means saving for it versus settling for a low cost trike which may let you down and disappoint you. Also keep in mind that you will need some accessories and they can add up fast … probably a very minimum of $200 and quite possibly $400 or $500. There used to be more sub $1000 trikes listed, but I haven’t been able to find them to list here. If anyone knows of any please let me know so I can include them. Thanks.
Note: prices are U.S. dollars. Shipping charges shown are for continental U.S. only. I don’t know anything about this, but it is possible that there may be duties to pay on some imported trikes.

Looking for what you’re providing on this site for Kansas City. Does your site have any KC ride info or do you know where I can find it? Thanks
I would suggest contacting a local bike shop and asking them if they can help you connect with other tadpole trike riders. Here is one that sells recumbent trikes … https://www.bikestoponline.com/
Excellent information, Steve, as everything you publish. But have you heard of Ti-Trike with a titanium body? Looks high quality and interesting as well.
Yes, I have heard of Ti-Trikes. I have mentioned them a few different times on this blog. They don’t seem to be willing to provide much information about their trikes so I have chosen to pretty much ignore them as I can’t/don’t respect a company that operates like that.
Steve, I am pretty sure he means assembled or packaged. Stein Trikes are modular in nature like ICE products so you can mix & match.
Steintrikes are manufactured in Austria with distribution by a German company. Nothing unusual in that the owners can focus on production & leave sales & distribution to someone else.
I found them on Ebay, Icetrikes have an account and sell off old models But there are quite a few that pop up on EBay from time to time … I must admit I found millions aboard .. And Ship was costly Very Costly..
Steintrikes is an Austrian company, their webpage including prices is here: http://www.steintrikes.at
Looking at that website didn’t clear up the confusion for me. It looks to be a company (a cycle dealership) in Austria that sells Steintrikes as well as some other brands. I found nothing stating where the Steintrikes are made.
I bought my Wild One from Thomas Seide in Austria after visiting the Spezi-Rad fair in Germersheim /Germany.
The company name is Bike Revolution, they produce and export the Steintrikes and sell the other brands.
Produced in Serbia, mounted in Austria near Vienna.
Thanks for the explanation. However, I still have a question. What does “mounted in Austria” mean? I am not familiar with that wording.
I meant putting the parts together takes place in Austria. Sometimes there are just some words missing.. 😉
Steve, I may be wrong as the information on Steintrikes is convoluted, you may want to double check. I was under the impression that they are made in Austria & distributed by another company in Serbia.
Glen, I have not been able to find anything more about this so if you know of somewhere addressing this and can send me a link to it I would very much appreciate it. I find that lots of various information about various manufacturers is difficult if not impossible to locate. It is like they are trying to hide it from the public. 🙂
Hmm- Seems to just get worse Steve – This website says the founder is located in Serbia. Steintrikes.com I.P. address is in Germany and this site says they are a German or Austrian manufacturing company. https://translate.google.ca/translate?hl=en&sl=sv&u=http://www.ecoprofile.se/thread-2593-fjadringslosningar-for-trike-och-quad.html&prev=search
I guess you pays your money & takes your chances./Glen

Edge is made in Tennessee…not far from the woods and trails that Ed Miller frequents…..
Nicely done, Steve!
Thanks Ed. I appreciate the feedback. I hope the page is helpful to others.
