AIMED AT YOUR HEART … the title I have chosen for this page I am adding to this blog. My purpose is simply to do so aiming it at your heart. That is not just a play on words. I am most serious and sincere. LOVE CAN’T STAY SILENT. Everything I place on this page is AIMED AT YOUR HEART. We all have the same problem … heart disease. All of us struggle with this, but many don’t realize/understand/ acknowledge it. We can go thru our entire lives and never deal with this. We may think we are safe and will get away with ignoring this heart disease problem, but it will catch up to us in the end. I am not going to talk a lot about it. I will let others do the talking. I will be posting videos here and perhaps links to other websites. All of them will be AIMED AT YOUR HEART.
We have a tendency to think that it was someone else responsible for nailing Jesus Christ on that old rugged cross. The truth is you did it. And I did it. We are all guilty and responsible.
Yet it was not the nails that held Jesus to the cross. It was His love for you and I that held Him there. He could have come down off of that cross, but He chose to endure the suffering in order to purchase salvation for you and I. God’s Word says that “without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sin” (Hebrews 9:22). It was on and thru that cross that God demonstrated His love toward us … that while we were yet sinners Christ (Who is God) died for us (in our place).

It is the vehicle God used to reach my 84 year old mother just a few weeks before she breathed her last breath in this earthly life. She had been one who had always believed in Jesus. She had gone to church all of her life. She had even taught Sunday School classes to children. Yet she had lived her entire life lost and hellbound as she didn’t know Jesus. She had never repented of her sin and asked Jesus to forgive her and come into her life to take control. She had never been “born again”. After watching this movie she finally understood it all and responded to Jesus’ invitation to her to come to Him and call upon His Name.

The next video depicts a small child on a journey who eventually finds the loving outstretched arms of his father awaiting him. It is the same for us if we know Jesus and have a born again relationship with Him. We are on a journey thru this life and at the end we will find the Father’s loving outstretched arms awaiting us.

Bible prophecy is fascinating. I am talking about “foretelling what will happen in the future”. Approximately 34 % of the bible is about prophecy. More than 90 % of these prophecies have already come to pass. For those who doubt there is probably no better means of verifying the accuracies of scripture as everything can be checked out and proven. There is no error … no inaccuracy in God’s holy Word. The remaining prophecies to be fulfilled are all part of the “End Times” and are referred to as ‘end time prophecies’. The “signs” are all around us to any who will simply look and listen. Closed minds and hard hearts prevent people from seeing and understanding the truth that is right in front of them. The number one thing in these end times is “what is happening in the Middle East”. We see the rise of Islam and the horrific violence and threat this evil religion of the devil poses on any and all who reject joining them. We see all the fighting and unrest happening. We see Russia literally destroying Syria thru bombing the cities into oblivion. All of this and much more is on the daily news. Wake up! This if all foretold in God’s Word. And it is going to get a whole lot uglier. Life is going to become extremely difficult for those who are around to face what is coming. And what is coming is not far off. Things are happening at an alarming pace. The purpose of prophecy is to prepare us, not to scare us. However, if we are not saved, don’t know Jesus, we indeed should be scared … very scared! I would not want to have to go thru the times foretold in God’s Word which are just around the corner. God has told us in His Word that He is going to pour out His wrath upon those who have refused to take advantage of His offer … salvation by His grace thru His Son, Jesus Christ. Those who have rejected salvation and gone their own way will go thru “hell on earth”. It is all foretold in His Word. The time is short and His offer is about to close out. We should seek the Lord while He may be found. God doesn’t want anyone to perish, but rather He wants all to come to repentance. God is a gentleman and won’t force His will upon you. It is your choice. The “ball is in your court”. Jesus is coming back … and He is really mad! And that is scriptural!!

It tells the story of how I came to believe in God and understand and accept the salvation He offers. It goes on to tell how all of mankind is born sinful and in need of help. It explains it all in considerable detail. It is a long read, but I highly suggest you make the effort and take the time. Your eternal soul is at stake if you haven’t already settled the heart disease problem with God.

There are many false religions in the world and all of them will damn the souls of those deceived by them. We MUST look to God’s Word for the source of Truth and never to man apart from that which is confirmed in God’s Word. This is a most serious matter. Our eternal soul is at stake. We can be most sincere in what we believe, but if we are wrong in what we believe all we are is “sincerely wrong”. HERE is a good article written on the subject of false religions. And HERE is another good article on false religions of the world. It takes a look at what they teach and practice and compares it to what God’s Word says about the matter. Satan loves religion and has many people practicing false ones all around the world.
The next video is the testimony of a former Muslim man who asked God in prayer to lead him into Truth. God answered his prayer and he accepted Jesus Christ into his heart and life leaving his Muslim religion which he came to realize was a false religion.

Jesus provided us with the Great Exchange … our sin which condemns us for His righteousness thru His shed blood which alone can and does save us. It all starts with acknowledging that we are sinners and can not save ourselves. We need His salvation. The second step is to repent … to be willing to turn from sin and desire to walk in obedience before Him.
