One thing that is important to me is having a small turning diameter. I hate riding a trike that requires stopping, backing up, going forward and repeating the process just trying to turn a tight corner. That is one of the things I have against ICE trikes. I jokingly say that it takes a football field to turn one. That is not far from the truth. That is poor design engineering in my opinion. This video explains the subject matter and uses ICE trikes exclusively in doing so. The picture above demonstrates the 14 foot diameter my homemade trike was capable of. My Catrike Trail has a 14 foot turning diameter also  if I remember correctly. Rarely do I encounter anywhere I ride that requires me to zig zag back and forth to turn a corner. A friend of mine has a Trident which can turn tighter than my Catrike.
