It is almost Thanksgiving Day here in the United States. I am thankful for this holiday where we as Americans pause in our busy lives to give thanks to God for the many blessings we enjoy from His hand. I am truly thankful for many different things in my life. I could compile a long list here but I will spare you that. Reflecting back I am thankful for my dad who lovingly made the money I needed available to me so that I could purchase the various items needed to fabricate my first tadpole trike. Otherwise I may not have ever got into this great sport of tadpole trike riding. And again, reflecting back I am thankful I was able to start receiving social security a couple of months before I actually retired from my job. That extra money made it possible for me to purchase my Catrike Trail tadpole trike. Otherwise it is likely that never would have happened. I am thankful for relative good health that each day I can enjoy and benefit from riding my tadpole trike. I am thankful for new friends I have made over the years thru riding my trike. I am thankful for the privilege of having this blog which is read all over the world in at least 193 countries. I am thankful for the many comments I have received back from readers of this blog which thanked me for helping them and encouraged me to continue on. I am sure that if I continued to think about this subject there are many more things I could add to this list.
Before I bring this to a close I just want to say that I am thankful that my Creator, Jesus Christ, loves me so much that He willingly died in my place so that my sin could be forgiven and I would not have to face the death sentence that was upon me as a result of my sin. And I am thankful that He is not a respecter of persons. He loves each of us just the same. He offers the same deal to each of us … forgiveness of our sin … and eternal life with Him. All He requires is that we come to Him on His terms. His great love is AIMED AT YOUR HEART. None of us know what a day may bring forth. We don’t have the assurance of our next heart beat and breath. Death could happen for any of us in the blink of an eye. Procrastination is a very dangerous thing for if we die in our sin our fate is sealed.
At this point in time I have no intention of stopping writing new articles for this blog. But what if I were to do so? What would I communicate in MY LAST POST?
I am so thankful that each day (weather permitting) I can …
KEEP ON TRIKIN’ and ENJOY THE RIDE!
