THE WEATHER HAS GONE BONKERS

It is being said that the weather department is undergoing some wild and crazy changes. I won’t argue that but I will say that there is nothing new under the sun. It has happened before and it is happening again. Right now (April 5. 2004) as I write this all of our local trails along the rivers here in Fort Wayne, IN are closed due to flooding. There is certainly nothing new about this as it happens frequently and always has since the trails were first built. Many years ago the owner of a local golf course which no longer exists used to say that they never had any flooding on their property which was adjacent to the Maumee River  until after the trail was built along the river. That is quite laughable as I remember frequent flooding when I was just a little kid long before the golf course was built. There is nothing about the trail which causes flooding. The river simply rises after rain falls or snow melts … or both.

Yes, we are definitely having much milder winters than I remember in my younger years. But is has happened before. They have records of weather data which proves this out. And while one place is having a mild winter other places are having a harsh winter so nothing has really changed. And truthfully it has not been that long ago since we had some nasty winter weather to deal with. In 2014 we had this snowfall to deal with. Yes, I know … it is nothing compare to what some people get.

Winter is almost over with and Spring is trying to make its appearance. Of course,with Spring comes lots of rain. All of this takes its toll on trike riding and getting exercise.

Yes, the weather has gone bonkers … all over the world. And it is all prophesied in God’s Word for the End Times which we are now in. So we should not be surprised .
